New DVDs, Book, Internet Site Worth Taking Closer Look At
From Collegiate Baseball: Friday, October 1, 2010
An exciting duo of DVDs has recently been produced by Doug White which should excite all pitching coaches and pitchers on all levels of baseball. His first video, A Complete Overview Of The Pitching Process is brilliantly done over 72 minutes. It not only covers every conceivable mechanic a pitcher must learn, but he busts a few myths along the way with his vast
knowledge of pitching. Learn More

Words Fail Me
From WebBall Insider: March 29, 2010
I came across a new pitching video late last week. At first blush it was going to be just another of those many videos that break down pitching mechanics from the ground up - first we talk about the feet, then the legs, then the trunk, and shoulders and arms. You know, the usual sequence.
But very quickly I realized I had something different on this DVD, something special.
Here's my personal take as presented on the website under the pop-up commentary... " I am in awe of the clarity and awareness which Doug White brings to pitching mechanics. Applying all the newest ideas and paradigms, he steps the viewer through each aspect of an effective pitch delivery, without resorting to conventional wisdom, but always with the ability to define and demonstrate both principles and process. Even if you think you know how to pitch, or how to teach pitching, you have to have this; you'll want to show it to every player, parent, and coach you know. In WebBall's view this is the best pure pitching mechanics DVD to come along - certainly in the past several years, maybe ever. We could not give it a higher recommendation."
Except those are still just words. And even though we show some stills, and provide more information, in fact, even if we included some video clips, it would still fall short of truly explaining the value of this 70 minute instructional gem.
So, I think what I have to do is stick my neck out ...put my money where my mouth is. And therefore, for the first time ever, WebBall itself (not based on a supplier/producer warranty, but just on our own) is going to offer a money-back guarantee.
If after watching it all, you don't agree that this is the best explanation of the finer points of the pitching process that you've ever seen, then send it back to WebBall HQ for a full purchase refund.
There is one catch, however. When you send it back, you're going to have to tell us what pitching mechanics DVD you think could possibly be better. After all, if you've seen one that's better, then we should be featuring it, too. In the meantime, and perhaps for all-time, this is the one.
A Passion for Pitching
From Seamheads.com: April 23, 2010
As a teenager Doug White was an all-star—”an average player for my age but above average for the area where I played”—but he wanted to improve his game so he attended the Doyle Baseball School after his Freshman year of high school and, through a long-toss program he learned from the instructors, added more than 100 feet to his throws, increasing from 220 feet to 330. “Today they say that if you can throw a baseball at least 300 feet, it’s comparable to a 90 mph fastball on the mound. The problem was I could never line that up on the mound because I didn’t understand the process my body should be taking." Read More

Hi Doug,
I just want you to know that I received and just finished watching your
pitching mechanics DVD.
I just want to say in my opinion it is an absolutely excellent DVD.
Although I am obviously not a pitching expert, everything you say
in your DVD actually makes sense. This doesn't sound like much of
an endorsement but it really is. I am an engineer by trade so I tend to
really analyze things. I read a lot of what the pitching experts say
and some of it really doesn't make sense, but all of the information
on your DVD made sense and you presented it in a very straight forward
and easy to understand manner.
I wish I had purchased your DVD sooner.
