Coaches Honored at Cardinal's Busch Stadium
Doug White was flown to St. Louis with the rest of the coaching staff for the Batavia Muckdog class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals Organization. The ceremony was held on the field at Busch Stadium before one of the last home games of the St. Louis Cardinals 2008 season.
Each coach was awarded a watch to remember the championship engraved with the words "NYPL Champs '08" (NY Penn League).
Doug is looking forward to repeating the same success next year. In the 2009 season, Doug will be in Johnson City, Tennessee with the Johnson City Cardinals, the advanced rookie league affiliate of the Cardinals Organization.
